Wolf Spaether has 26 years of experience in the petrochemicals catalyst industry with a strong background in polypropylene, styrene, PDH, and olefins. Based in Munich, Germany, he joined Clariant in 2007 and had been responsible for global sales in petrochemicals for the past ten years. In 2023, Wolf was promoted to his current role as Head of Strategy & Product Management Ethylene. A chemist by training, Wolf received his PhD from the University of Münster in 1997, followed by postdoctoral study at the University of Oxford in England.
