Subhasis Bhattacharya is the Technology Director for Chevron Lummus Global. An employee of Chevron USA with thirty-six years of industry experience, he is the subject matter expert for base oil hydroprocessing. Subhasis has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and completed advanced leadership program for executives at the graduate business school of Stanford University. A former panelist at the AFPM technology forum, he has presented several papers at international seminars. Subhasis is the author of the chapter on lubricant base oil in the latest edition of the Handbook of Petroleum Refining Processes, McGraw-Hill Publication and has several patents.
