Dr. Ronald (Ron) Sills, Director of the XTL & DME Institute (www.XTLInstitute.com), is an internationally-recognized expert in alternative and renewable fuels. With a distinguished career at BP, Amoco, and Mobil, Dr. Sills brings extensive industry experience. He authored a major 2022 World LPG Association white paper on renewable DME’s role in defossilizing the global LPG industry, presented at the 2023 IRPC. His recent work focuses on renewable propane advancements in the U.S. Dr. Sills holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a B.S. from Columbia University.
