Duke Tran currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Product
Innovation and Technology at Velan Inc. With an extensive career spanning
over 35 years, he has previously served as the head of engineering at five
prominent companies. Duke Tran’s expertise extends beyond engineering, as he
has also held executive roles in sales, marketing, business development, and
served as a general manager for large global corporations.

His educational background includes degrees in Mechanical Engineering and an
MBA (Canada). Duke Tran furthered his knowledge through executive studies
in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford (UK) and the Industrial
Internet of Things (IIoT) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT –
USA). Notably, he holds over 39 US patents.
