Borislava Kostova is a leader in Strategy, Energy Solutions, Sustainability and Low Carbon Solutions for Honeywell UOP. In the past she has worked for LyondellBasell developing Circular Economy initiatives, for ExxonMobil where she held senior roles in Low Carbon Solutions as a Global Bio-Feedstock Advisor, Senior Technology, Scouting and Venture Advisor, Senior Strategy and Planning Advisor, various roles in optimization, logistics, scheduling, planning, trading and advanced control. She had an honor to serve as a technology manager at the Bioenergy Technologies Office in the U.S. Department of Energy. She was the DOE-BETO representative for the International Energy Agency Bioenergy Task 42, “Biorefining in a Future BioEconomy.” She holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Master of Business Degree from the University of Maryland.
