Andy Rivera brings a unique combination of petrochemical industry expertise, engineering knowledge, and data-driven decision-making. Originally from Mexico City, he earned a Chemical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and a Master’s in Data Analytics from Texas A&M University. He began his career as an olefins engineer with Formosa Plastics and later LyondellBasell, gaining extensive experience in process technology and operations. Today, Andy focuses on developing strategic plans to expand the supply of low-carbon products. Known for his innovative mindset and ability to challenge conventional thinking, he is passionate about creating practical solutions that advance both business objectives and sustainability goals. Outside of work, he is an avid sports enthusiast.
