Bayode Olusegun is an accomplished energy and environmental professional with extensive academic and industry experience. He holds two master’s degrees: one from the University of Ibadan and another in WASTE (Water, Air, Soil, and Treatment Engineering) from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He also holds a NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management, a certificate in the Climate Energy Challenge from Harvard University, and a World Bank certificate in Solid Waste Management.

Bayode has worked as a research assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and at ISWA in Stuttgart, Germany. He presented at the International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) in 2019 at Columbia University, New York.

He is currently a Doctoral Fellow at CIEHS and a Fellow of the Nigerian Environmental Society (NES). His professional memberships include the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), and Waste Club Stuttgart. He is also a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards.

Bayode serves as HSE Manager at SEEPCO and is the current Group Environmental Specialist at Dangote Industries Limited. He has facilitated several Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects funded by the World Bank.

He is married and the proud father of four children.
