Aurelio Ferrucci (Industrial Chemistry Degree in 1992 and Chemical Technologies PhD 2019, Genoa University) built his professional experience within Prometheus’ process and software departments.

Since 1994 he has followed many optimisation projects (refinery configuration, feasibility, and process design) focused on different processes and supported the software development team.

Since early 2000, he has actively contributed to developing Prometheus software tools (Crude Characterisation, LP Optimisation and Plant Simulation Library, Logistics Simulation Tool, Polymer Scheduling Tool), providing process knowledge, defining functional requirements, and coding reliable calculation methods.

Since 2009 he has been charged with company executive management with direct responsibility for commercial development and marketing.
